2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this website, the user accepts these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must refrain from using the site.

3. Service Description

Global Car Rental provides vehicle rental services, including quotes, online reservations, vehicle delivery and return, and customer support through its website and contact channels.

4. User Obligations

• Provide truthful, complete and up-to-date personal information.
• Use the website and services lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
• Not attempt to access restricted areas of the site without authorization.
• Not use automated systems to extract data from the website.
• Meet the requirements for vehicle rental (valid ID, driver's license, credit card).

5. Reservations and Payments

Online reservations require a deposit of 20% of the total rental value. The remaining balance must be paid at the time of vehicle pick-up. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, bank transfers, and other methods indicated on the website.

All reservations are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by the Global Car Rental team.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the pick-up date: full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the pick-up date: 50% refund of the deposit.
• No-shows: no refund will be issued.

7. Credit Card Requirement

At the time of vehicle pick-up, the renter must present a credit card in their name with sufficient available credit for the security voucher. The minimum credit limit varies by vehicle tier: Economy ($2,000,000 COP), Mid-Range ($4,000,000 COP), Premium ($8,000,000 COP), VIP ($15,000,000 COP).

8. Vehicle Condition and Responsibility

The user is responsible for the vehicle during the entire rental period. Any damage, loss, or incident must be reported immediately. The user agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as received, considering normal wear and tear.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including texts, images, logos, graphics, and software, is the property of Global Car Rental or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without prior written authorization is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

Global Car Rental shall not be liable for damages arising from the improper use of the website, service interruptions, or force majeure events. The company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service without prior notice.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute arising from the use of the website or the services shall be resolved by the competent courts in Medellín, Colombia.

12. Modifications

Global Car Rental reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page and will take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of the website after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
